Optical Disks are used for archiving and storage of patient data produced by imaging equipment (only applicable if an optical drive is mounted already).
Optical Disks are divided into 2 categories:

WORM Data on these media cannot be changed or deleted. |
RW Information can be deleted and new data can be written again. |
